Why do you build on WordPress?
Platforms such as Wix, Squarespace and Shopify are convenient, but they limit design options and can need costly customisation as your business grows. WordPress is flexible and well supported, and we add custom code where your integrations need it.
How do you keep the website secure?
We keep software updated, follow secure coding practices, limit access to sensitive areas, use HTTPS, run a web application firewall, set file permissions properly, keep backups, monitor logs and carry out regular security audits. Every site sits behind Cloudflare.
Will the site work on mobile devices?
Yes. We use responsive layouts, optimise images and resources for smaller screens and slower connections, and test on a wide range of devices and browsers, including older models.
How do you test before launch?
In four stages: functional testing as we build, your approval of the desktop version, validation across mobile and tablet devices, and finally your own user acceptance testing.
What happens if something goes wrong after launch?
We fix bugs for 30 days after launch. Each issue is replicated, debugged, traced to its root cause, fixed, tested and documented. After that, maintenance plans cover technical support, updates, security, performance, backups and reporting.
