What SEO is, and why it matters
SEO improves how your website ranks in Google’s organic results, so more of the right people find you when they search for what you sell. It covers technical fixes, keyword research, content and links.
Traffic on its own is not the goal. We focus on the products and services you want to sell and measure what visits turn into: enquiries, sales and revenue. It is a long-term channel, because Google and your competitors keep moving.

How much does SEO cost?
We work within the budget you set, which decides how many keywords we can target at any one time. For businesses new to SEO, a typical starting point is at least £1,000 a month for a minimum of three months. SEO is an ongoing investment, because Google's algorithm and your competitors keep changing.
How long before SEO shows results?
It depends on your starting point, your competition and your objectives, so we will not promise a date. Businesses with previous SEO experience may see movement sooner than those starting from scratch. We prioritise the most important fixes in the first month and report on progress every month.
Is SEO right for every business?
No. It may not be the best choice if you already rank highly and convert organic traffic well, if your audience does not use search engines to find you, if you have chosen to focus on other channels, or if budget is too limited to invest properly.
How will we know if it is working?
We set up tracking to follow activity from start to finish, then report monthly on rankings, organic traffic, bounce rate, conversion rate, local visibility and click-through rates, plus the KPIs that matter most: leads, sales and revenue.
Why does our well-designed website not rank?
Web designers focus on how a site looks and works. SEO changes usually do not affect appearance, so they are often missed, even by designers with some SEO knowledge. Many good-looking sites have technical issues that limit how Google ranks them, which is usually where we start.
What happens on a discovery call?
It is a no-pressure conversation about your business, how your website is performing now and your goals for growth. We will explain how SEO could help and whether it is the right fit for you.
