Paid media
Paid media that pays its way
Pay-per-click advertising puts your ads in front of people searching for what you sell, and you pay when someone clicks. You control what you advertise, who sees it and how much you spend.
A busy account is not always a profitable one. The value comes from targeting buyers close to a decision, excluding irrelevant searches and tracking each ad through to enquiries and sales. That is how you stop paying for the wrong clicks.
Who it’s for
Is paid media right for you?
- Businesses spending on Google Ads without knowing which clicks become sales
- Owners who need enquiries or sales sooner than organic search can deliver
- Firms promoting new products or services that need visibility quickly
- Teams without the time or expertise to test and optimise campaigns regularly
What’s included
What we do for you
-
Keyword research and buyer intent
Finding the searches closest to a buying decision, so your budget goes on people ready to buy rather than casual browsers.
-
Negative keywords
Stopping your ads showing to people who are not interested in what you sell, so you stop paying for irrelevant clicks.
-
Ad copy and split testing
Writing ads that sell your benefits, then testing headlines, copy and calls to action to see what drives clicks and conversions.
-
Conversion tracking
Tracking clicks, conversions and cost per click for each ad and keyword, not just overall spend, so every decision is based on data.
-
Budget planning
Setting a budget that runs long enough to optimise campaigns properly and reach a profitable return on ad spend.
-
Ongoing optimisation
Pausing ads that are not making you money, improving borderline ones and putting more behind those that are, in line with your business goals.
Our approach

A free 45-minute chat about your business, products, services and objectives, to judge whether PPC is a good fit.
-
Platform and budget
Choosing the right platform for your audience, their location and what you sell, and setting a budget that allows time to optimise.
-
Targeting and ads
Building keyword lists or audiences, including negative keywords, and writing ads that speak to buyers close to a decision.
-
Launch and track
Launching campaigns with tracking in place, so each ad and keyword is measured separately.
-
Optimise for profit
Stopping what is not working, split testing weaker ads and scaling what returns a profit.
What clients say
We were spending about £3-4k a month on google AdWords and PPC. Since working with the OMS Team the spend has been reduced by at least £1000 (or more) but the return we are getting has literally tripled. The results are nothing short of phenomenal and to say it has changed our business is an understatement. We’ve experienced massive growth in the last 12-18 months. That is a direct result of OMS.
Why OMS
Why businesses choose us
-
Google Ads focus
We specialise in Google Ads because it is where people are actively searching for products and services like yours.
-
Joined up with SEO
We are also an SEO agency, so paid and organic search work together and complement each other rather than pulling in different directions.
-
Profit over activity
We judge campaigns on return, not clicks. Sometimes the answer is tighter targeting and fewer wasted clicks, not a bigger budget.

Which advertising platforms should we use?
It depends on your target audience, their likely location and what you are selling. We specialise in Google Ads, because it is where people are actively looking for products and services. Other options include Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube, and we will talk through what fits your business.
How much should we spend on ads?
It depends on what you are selling, who you are selling to and where your ads will appear. The key is committing enough budget, for long enough, to run sufficient ads and optimise them towards a profitable return.
Could we not run Google Ads ourselves?
You could. It is not a secret skill. The catch is time: learning usually means some wasted spend along the way, and regular testing and optimisation is hard to fit around running a business.
What usually goes wrong with PPC?
The common mistakes are weak keyword research, no negative keywords, poor ad copy, not tracking data, not testing, campaigns that do not match business goals and no set budget. Any of these can turn a potentially profitable campaign into one that loses money.
How quickly can PPC bring in enquiries?
Ads can start showing within hours of launch, which makes PPC useful when you need visibility quickly. Turning that into a profitable return takes tracking, testing and optimisation, so we will not promise results from day one.
What happens on the discovery call?
It is a free 45-minute chat about your business, your products and services and your objectives. From that we can usually tell whether PPC is a good fit, and point you in the right direction either way.
