Events Website Design

Event websites that sell tickets and fill rooms.

Whether you run festivals, conferences or a venue, your website has to sell the experience, show the price clearly and cope when everyone arrives at once.

Events Website Design

Built for the moment tickets go on sale

Event websites have an awkward life. Quiet for weeks, then a surge when the line-up drops or early bird pricing ends. If the site slows down, the ticket link breaks or the price at checkout is higher than the price on the page, you lose sales and goodwill in the same afternoon.

We build event websites that make the case for attending, link cleanly into your ticketing, show the full price upfront and are hosted to handle peaks. For venues, we build enquiry journeys that capture the date, numbers and budget your events team needs.

Who it’s for

Is this your kind of event business?

  • Festival, show and conference organisers selling tickets online
  • Venues taking enquiries for weddings, parties, meetings and conferences
  • Organisers running a calendar of events that is painful to update
  • Event businesses selling exhibitor stands or sponsorship alongside tickets

What’s included

What an events website needs

  • Event listings

An events calendar your team can update, with dates, venue details and event structured data so listings are machine-readable.

  • Ticketing integration

Clean links or embeds into your ticketing platform, tested on mobile, so the path from interest to purchase is short.

  • Clear total pricing

Ticket prices shown with mandatory fees included, so the price on the page matches the price at checkout.

  • Venue enquiry forms

Forms that capture date, guest numbers, event type and budget, so your events team can respond with a real proposal.

  • Exhibitor and sponsor packs

Pages and downloads for exhibitors and sponsors, with their own enquiry route.

  • Hosting for busy moments

Hosting and caching planned around on-sale dates, behind Cloudflare, so the site stays responsive under load.

  1. Understand your calendar

Your events, on-sale dates, ticketing platform and who handles enquiries.

  2. Plan the journeys

Separate routes for attendees, venue hirers, exhibitors and sponsors, so each sees what matters to them.

  3. Design and approve

Event, listing and enquiry pages designed and signed off before the build.

  4. Build and load-check

WordPress build, ticketing integration and hosting set-up, tested ahead of your first on-sale date.

FAQs

Questions we get asked

Can you integrate our existing ticketing platform?

In most cases, yes, using the embed or link options your platform provides. We check its options during discovery and test the full purchase journey on mobile before launch.

Will the site crash when tickets go on sale?

We plan hosting and caching for your busiest moments and keep pages light. No site is immune to every spike, so we also make sure ticket links still work if traffic is heavy.

Do we have to show booking fees in the ticket price?

Mandatory fees should be included in the price you show. We design listings to show the total price, but your team remains responsible for the figures, so check them before each event goes live.

Can our team add events without a developer?

Yes. We set up an event template in WordPress so adding dates, line-ups and images is straightforward.

We are a venue, not an organiser. Is this still relevant?

Yes. For venues the focus shifts to spaces, capacities, packages and an enquiry form that gives your events team what they need to quote.
