Website Design Stoke-on-Trent
Heritage sells, if the website lets it
Many Stoke-on-Trent businesses have something competitors cannot copy: a craft, a history or a way of making things that goes back generations. Yet their website often reads like everyone else’s.
We design sites that put that story and the product front and centre, with strong photography, clear product information and a buying journey that works for customers at home and overseas. For service businesses across the city, we focus on being easy to find and easy to contact in whichever of the six towns customers live.
The local market
The Potteries today
Stoke-on-Trent is a federation of six towns, Tunstall, Burslem, Hanley, Stoke, Fenton and Longton, and is known around the world as the Potteries for its ceramics heritage. Alongside makers and heritage brands, the city has a large logistics, retail and service economy. Its websites need to speak to two audiences: buyers far away who care about provenance, and local customers who want a reliable firm nearby.
Who it’s for
Is your Stoke-on-Trent website doing your business justice?
- Ceramics and homeware makers selling direct to consumers or to trade
- Heritage brands whose website does not reflect the craft behind the product
- Businesses shipping to customers across the UK or overseas
- Local service firms covering Hanley, Burslem, Longton and the other towns

Can you photograph our products?
Product photography is not something we claim as a core in-house service. We can advise on what your shop needs and work with the images or photographer you choose.
We sell to stockists and to the public. Can the site handle both?
Yes, in most cases. We plan separate journeys for trade and retail customers so each sees the right prices and information.
Can we sell overseas through the website?
We can set up international delivery options, currencies and clear shipping information, depending on your e-commerce platform and the markets you serve.
Our business covers several of the six towns. How should the site handle that?
We set out your service areas clearly and only create area-specific content where there is something genuinely useful to say about that location.
Can we keep our existing brand?
Of course. We design around your existing brand guidelines, or help refresh them if they are holding the business back.
