Local SEO
Be visible where your customers are searching
For businesses that serve a defined area, from trades and builders to dentists and estate agents, the work that pays comes from nearby. When someone searches for a roofer in Staffordshire or a builder in Cannock, you want to be one of the names they see.
Local SEO is how you get there. We optimise your Google Business Profile, your location pages and your listings across the web, so Google has a clear picture of what you do and where you do it. Then we track the calls and enquiries that follow, not just positions on a map.
Who it’s for
Is local SEO right for your business?
- Businesses with premises or a defined service area that rely on local customers
- Firms that show in Google Maps for some towns but not the ones they want
- Multi-area businesses with inconsistent listings or thin location pages
- Owners who keep seeing competitors in the map results and want to know why
What’s included
What our local SEO services include
-
Google Business Profile management
Accurate details, the right categories, an optimised description and fresh photos, managed and monitored over time rather than set up once and forgotten.
-
Local keyword research
Finding the location-based searches your customers actually use, then optimising headings, content, metadata and structure on the pages that matter.
-
Location and service area pages
Pages for the areas you genuinely cover, each with something useful to say about that area, rather than copies with the town name swapped.
-
Citations and listings
Building and cleaning up your business details across trusted directories, so your name, address and phone number match everywhere.
-
Local links and authority
Earning links from relevant local and industry websites, such as suppliers, associations and community organisations, which act as trust signals.
-
Reviews, done properly
Helping you build a steady flow of genuine Google reviews and respond to them well. We never buy, filter or write reviews.
Our approach
How we work
Diagnose first, then prescribe.
-
Local audit
We check your profile, listings, location pages and how you appear in the map results across the areas you cover.
-
Agree the areas
We prioritise the towns and services worth most to you, based on margin, capacity and competition.
-
Fix and build
Profile optimisation, citation clean-up, location pages and local links, with the most pressing fixes first.
-
Track the enquiries
Calls, direction requests and form enquiries from local search, reported monthly so you can see what is working.
What clients say
The results truly speak for themselves! Since working with Dave and his team, we have seen a clear increase in local aerial installation enquiries, something we were not achieving before. Investing felt like a big step at first, but it quickly proved its value through the consistent local results delivered. They genuinely care about achieving the best outcome for our business and treat it as if it were their own. Working with a team of genuine local people who understand the importance of local visibility has been a breath of fresh air, and they continue to deliver exactly what they promised.

What is a Google Business Profile and why does it matter?
It is the free listing that lets your business appear in Google Maps and the local results. Setting one up is simple. Getting the most from it takes ongoing work: the right categories, accurate details, photos, reviews and regular updates. For many local businesses it is where a large share of calls start.
Can local SEO cover more than one location or service area?
Yes. It works for single-site businesses and for those covering several areas. For multiple areas we create location pages that say something genuinely useful about each and manage your service area settings, rather than producing near-identical pages with the town name changed.
What affects local rankings?
Google looks at relevance, distance and prominence. In practice that means your Google Business Profile, how clearly your website explains your services and areas, reviews, consistent business details across the web and links from relevant local sites. How close the searcher is to you matters too, and nobody can change that.
How long does local SEO take to work?
It depends on your starting point and how competitive your area is. Profile and listing fixes can make a difference sooner than broader SEO, but building local authority is ongoing work. We give you an honest view after the audit rather than a promise.
Do we need a physical address to rank locally?
Not necessarily. Service area businesses, like many trades, can hide their address and set the areas they cover instead. You do need a genuine business location, though. Virtual offices and made-up addresses breach Google's guidelines and can get a profile suspended.
